NANODEVICE consortium

NANODEVICE is an industrial driven project that aims to develop easy-to-use portable devices for the measurement of engineered nanoparticles (ENP) in workplace air. The targeted industries (producers of ENP and measurement devices) are acting on an international level. Therefore, only a Europe-wide integrated project bringing together experts from metrology, characterization, toxicology and device development and finally the matching industrial partners is a useful instrument to achieve the ambitious goals.

The NANODEVICE Consortium is constituted on the basis of the project’s needs. It includes 26 partners from eight European member states (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, United Kingdom, France and Poland).

The consortium consists of one five industrial partners including four SMEs, 13 research institutes and eight academic partners.

The interest, background and expertise of the consortium partners in NANODEVICE match the project’s preconditions and objectives. These project points are in short:

  • Industrial relevance
  • Scientific excellence
  • European impact
